Promotion Overview

This promotion (“Offer”) is conducted by Police Bank ABN 95 087 650 799. AFSL/Australian Credit Licence No. 240018 (“Police Bank”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and is available to eligible Police Academy students in New South Wales and Tasmania who become members of Police Bank and meet the eligibility criteria outlined below.

Promotional Period

The Offer commences on 12 January 2026 and ends on 12 January 2027, or until promotional stock is exhausted. Police Bank reserves the right to amend the Promotional Period at its discretion.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Leatherman gift, you must:

• Be a current student of the Police Academy in Goulburn or Hobart.
• Be aged 18 years or over.
• Successfully apply for and open a Police Bank membership and transaction account.
• Have your salary credited into your U30 SUPER CHARGE Account or Easy Access Account from your employer (NSW Police or Tasmania Police).

Gift Details

Eligible members will receive one (1) Leatherman multi-tool. The gift:

• Is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or any other item.
• Must be collected in person from a Police Bank branch in either Goulburn or Hobart. No postal delivery or third-party collection is permitted.
• Is subject to availability. Police Bank reserves the right to substitute the gift with an item of equal or greater value if required.

How to Claim

Once your salary credit has been directed to your Police Bank account:

• You are required to attend a Police Bank branch in either Goulburn or Hobart, where a staff member will confirm your eligibility.
• You must present valid photo ID at a Police Bank branch to collect your Leatherman.
• Collection must occur within 30 days of notification unless otherwise agreed.

General Conditions

• Police Bank reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any participant who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
• Police Bank may refuse to award the gift if, in its reasonable opinion, the offer has been misused or manipulated.
• Police Bank’s decisions regarding this Offer are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

All applications are subject to Police Bank’s lending criteria and credit assessment. The interest rates are correct at 05/12/2025 and are subject to change. We may vary the rates at any time without prior notice to you. For the student credit card, see Visa Credit Card Conditions of Use. Eligibility: you must be a current student in Session 2 of the NSW Police Academy or a current student of the Tasmanian Police Academy, or have graduated within the last 6 months and be 18 years and over to qualify for the Student Personal Loan and Student Credit Card offers.

For the Student Credit Card

0% interest and no repayments for the first 3 months from approval. After this period, a 9-month introductory rate will be applied, following which standard interest rate and repayment obligations will apply.

For the Student Personal Loan

Following the 3-month period of 0% interest and no repayments, standard interest rates and repayment obligations will apply and principal and interest repayments will be proportioned over the remainder of the loan term.

The interest rate is correct at 08/01/2026 and is subject to change. We may vary the rates at any time without prior notice to you. 

The Interest is calculated daily and credited monthly. Interest payable is capped to a maximum deposit amount of $10,000 per account. Any amounts over $10,000 will not receive any interest. The following fees are waived for the U30 SUPER CHARGE account:

• Eftpos Transaction
• Periodical Payments staff assisted fees
• Cash withdrawal fee
• Overdrawn or dishonour fees
• Replacement Card Fee
• Additional Statement Fee
• Overseas replacement Card fee
• Bank@Post Fee

If you see a fee charged to your account excluding foreign conversion fees, please get in touch with us to review the fee and seek reimbursement. This account is only available to members 18 – 29 Years old who credit their whole salary to Police Bank. Once you are no longer eligible all credits, debits, and balances set up on this account and sub accounts will be transferred to the Easy Access (S1) account, unless other instructions have been provided by you the account holder.
