We’ve made some changes to selected new business Home Loan interest rates, Savings Plus interest rates and Term Deposit interest rates, effective Thursday, 3 September 2026.
Here’s a summary of what’s changing.
What’s changing?
Home Loans
Effective from September 3, 2026, interest rates on selected new business home loan products will decrease as follows:
Goldrate Home Loans
- Variable Rates for owner occupied and investment lending up to 80% LVR^ will decrease by 0.10% p.a.
- 3 Year Fixed Rates for owner occupied and investment lending up to 80% LVR will decrease by 0.30% p.a.
- No changes will apply to higher LVR tiers or existing home loans.
Police Value Home Loans
- Variable Rates for owner occupied lending up to 90% LVR will decrease by 0.10% p.a.
- Variable Rates for investment lending up to 80% LVR will decrease by 0.10% p.a.
- 3 Year Fixed Rates for owner occupied lending up to 90% LVR will decrease by 0.30% p.a.
- 3 Year Fixed Rates for investment lending up to 80% LVR will decrease by 0.30% p.a.
- No changes will apply to higher LVR tiers or existing home loans.
Savings Plus
Effective from September 3, 2026, interest rates on all Savings Plus tiers will decrease by 0.10% p.a. as follows:
- Tier 1: 1.00% p.a. → 0.90% p.a.
- Tier 2: 1.75% p.a. → 1.65% p.a.
- Tier 3: 4.50% p.a. → 4.40% p.a.
- Tier 4: 0.50% p.a. → 0.40% p.a.
Term Deposits*
Effective from September 3, 2026, the 4 Month Term Deposit rate will increase from 5.10% p.a. to 5.25% p.a.
*Interest is paid at maturity and rates may differ slightly depending on interest payment frequency.

^LVR stands for loan-to-value ratio. LVR is the amount of your loan compared to the Bank’s valuation of your property offered to secure your loan expressed as a percentage.
