As an integral member of our branch network, you will be the primary point of contact for our diverse customer base, providing exceptional service and building strong, lasting relationships. About the role
- Serve as a point of contact for members. Actively listen to and understand customer inquiries, providing accurate information regarding account balances, transaction details, interest rates, fees, and other banking products and services.
- Efficiently and accurately process a wide range of account-related requests, including but not limited to:
- Processing deposits and withdrawals.
- Facilitating fund transfers between accounts.
- Issuing bank drafts and managing cheque processing.
- Updating customer information (address, contact details, etc.).
- Assisting with account opening and closure procedures.
- Generating account statements and transaction histories.
- Managing standing orders and direct debits.
- Ensure all transactions and account maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions and transactions.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner, aiming for first-call resolution whenever possible.
- Document all problem resolution efforts and outcomes accurately.
- Maintain the confidentiality of customer information.
About You
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role across the financial services or banking industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Proficiency in using core banking systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A strong understanding of banking products, services, and procedures.
- A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
