About the Role
As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our marketing efforts targeted at Police and Border Enforcement Officers. You will support in the successful implementation of the marketing plan. You will inspire our existing and potential members with brand led initiatives, product storytelling and ensuring consistency across touchpoints. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering impactful campaigns and general marketing that drive member engagement and business growth.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end campaign management and communication across multiple channels. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure campaigns are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management:
- Brief, produce and oversee the creation of campaign assets, including digital, email campaigns, video, print, social media posts and strategic partner sponsorship and collaboration assets.
- Agency engagement – creative, media to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Plan, execute, and report on marketing campaigns across multiple channels predominantly print and digital.
- Monitor and maintain printed marketing collateral to ensure that it is current in the context of the internal and external environment.
- Develop and manage content, produce communication and creative briefs, and oversee the end-to-end campaign lifecycle, from conceptualization to execution and post-campaign analysis.
- Ensure all communications adhere to legal, regulatory, and brand guidelines relevant to the banking industry (e.g., ASIC, APRA, and privacy regulations).
- Set up conversion and pixel tracking using tools like Google Tag Manager, monitor campaign performance, and optimize to meet client and business objectives.
Content production and management:
- Oversee the creation of compelling content for brochures, web pages, and in-branch materials.
- Spearhead content creation initiatives that resonate with our industry audiences, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Develop and implement social strategies to support marketing campaigns and broader business goals.
- Ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work collaboratively with a diverse network of internal stakeholders, including the retail bank sales team, compliance and product teams to brief work, deliver campaigns, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Build strong relationships with external partners, such as advertising agencies, marketing service providers.
- Provide support across the Marketing team as required.
Digital Marketing Prowess:
- Support the Performance Marketing manager with digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, and display advertising, to drive growth and brand awareness.
- Implement and optimise lifecycle marketing campaigns ensuring personalised, data-driven communications across all stages of the member journey.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in marketing (incl digital) and related regulatory changes, leveraging new technologies and platforms to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analytics to evaluate marketing performance, refine strategies, and optimize ROI on marketing investments.
- Prepare and present regular campaign reports and insights to key stakeholders and senior management.
Financial Management:
- Manage campaign budgets, ensuring activities are within allocated resources and provide regular reporting on budget effectiveness.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant industry regulations and maintain the highest ethical standards.
- Understand and manage risks associated with marketing campaigns, speaking up to simplify, learn, and grow.
- Obtain required internal approvals and sign‑offs for all marketing materials prior to production and release.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role. The idea of being part of our growth is exciting, and you want to play a pivotal role in making banking simple and supporting essential workers with a focus on Police and Border Protection.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Expert negotiation and influencing skills to support and deliver marketing activity and campaigns.
- Proven track record in managing end-to-end integrated campaigns and partner marketing.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Experience working with creative agencies and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyse campaign performance, and provide actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and excel under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to stakeholders.
- Experience in banking, finance, or a similarly regulated industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Monday.com would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Marketo
