About the role 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Planner to join our team. This role is ideal for an adviser who values holistic advice, enjoys working closely with clients, and wants to grow within a supportive and professional environment. T

This is not your traditional Financial Planner role, working with all facets of law enforcement provides a unique advice opportunity and would suit someone who is seeking a genuine opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of our first responders

Responsibilities

You will manage an existing client base while also having the opportunity to grow your own portfolio through referrals and business development support

  • Provide comprehensive, best-interest financial advice across: superannuation and retirement planning, Investment and wealth accumulation strategies, personal insurance (risk) advice and cash flow and budgeting strategies
  • Conduct client meetings, reviews, and strategy presentations
  • Work with paraplanner to produce Statements of Advice (SoAs) and Records of Advice (RoAs)
  • Ensure all advice meets ASIC, FASEA, and licensee compliance requirements
  • Work closely with our in-office support team in providing a superior customer experience.
  • Contribute to ongoing business growth and client engagement initiatives

About You

  • Previous experience as a Financial Adviser who has successfully completed the FASEA exam (and on the Adviser register.) You hold an appropriate FASEA approved course or relevant tertiary qualification
  • Strong knowledge of Australian financial services legislation and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client-first mindset with a professional and ethical approach
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously
  • Experience with Xplan / Midwinter / similar advice software (desirable)
