Police Bank Cashback Campaign Terms & Conditions

Eligibility & Offer Details

Offer Period: 1 August 2025 to 30 September 2025, or until withdrawn at Police Bank’s discretion.

This cashback offer is exclusively available to current and retired Australian police employees (uniformed or civilian) who refinance an existing home loan during the offer period. Police Bank reserves the right to vary, extend, or withdraw this offer at any time without prior notice. To be eligible for the cashback offer applicants must:

Meet eligibility criteria below;

    • Apply for a Police Bank Police Value Home Loan during the offer period.
    • Meet minimum loan amount of $300,000 and have a loan-to-value ratio (LVR) of 80% or less.
    • Open and maintain a Police Bank Easy Access S1 transaction account with card access.
    • Direct their salary/wages to be credited to their Police Bank Easy Access transaction account for a minimum of three (3) consecutive salary deposits.
    • Complete loan settlement within 90 days of application.

Eligible Loan Types:

    • Refinanced home loans from other financial institutions (excluding Border Bank).
    • Owner-occupied or Investment, Fixed or Variable, Principal & Interest repayment only.

Cashback Amounts

The cashback amount is determined on applicable loan amount bracket below:

    • $300,000 – $499,999: $2,000 cashback
    • $500,000 – $749,999: $3,000 cashback
    • $750,000 or more: $4,000 cashback

Payment Terms

    • Cashback will be deposited into a Police Bank Easy Access (S1) transaction account or Police Bank designated savings account within eight (8) weeks of loan drawdown or settlement. The receiving account must be held in the same name(s) as the home loan. Where an application is made for joint borrowers and they do not hold an eligible Police Bank Easy Access (S1) transaction account jointly, Police Bank may pay the Cashback Payment into an eligible Police Bank Easy Access (S1) transaction account held in the name of either the primary or secondary borrower. Where no specific account instructions are provided by the borrower(s), the cashback amount will be applied as a credit to the home loan account to reduce the outstanding balance.
    • A Police Bank Easy Access (S1) transaction account with card access and active salary credit must be established before cashback payment.
    • For multiple loans, all loans must be funded before total cashback is assessed and paid.
    • Cashback is payable once per loan that is accepted by Police Bank regardless of number of applicants or properties involved in the transaction.
    • A member can only be party to this cashback offer once.
    • Once a qualifying loan application is accepted, no further applications involving the same borrower(s) – whether individually or jointly with others – will be eligible for cashback payments for the following 12-month period.
    • This Offer cannot be assigned or transferred.

Important Exclusions & Conditions

    • Not available in conjunction with any other promotional offers, bonuses or cashback payments.
    • Offer applies exclusively to Police Bank Police Value Home Loan products for both owner-occupier and investment purposes.
    • Offer excludes all Interest Only Loans, including Construction and Bridging Loans.
    • Finance will be assessed for cashback eligibility based on the final loan amount upon completion, subject to Police Bank’s lending criteria. Split loans and supplementary facilities secured against the same property are treated as a single loan application for cashback purposes.
    • This offer excludes internal refinancing or rewrites and is not compatible with any other cashback offer issued by Police Bank.
    • If you have received cashback on the intended property in the past you will not be eligible for this offer.
    • Your Home Loan must be active at time of cashback payment.

Legal & Compliance Terms

    • Fraud Protection: Police Bank reserves the right to reject, cancel, or recover any cashback payment where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity, misrepresentation, or illegal conduct in connection with the loan application or customer dealings.
    • Tax Responsibility: Members are solely responsible for any tax implications or liabilities arising from receipt of the cashback payment. Police Bank recommends consulting a tax advisor regarding potential tax consequences.
    • Relationship to Loan Products: These cashback terms are separate from and do not form part of the credit contract for the associated home loan. Standard lending criteria, fees, charges, and loan terms and conditions apply as detailed in Police Bank’s Home Loan Terms and Conditions. In case of any conflict between these cashback terms and the loan product terms; the loan product terms take precedence.
    • Governing Law: This offer is governed by Australian law and the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
