Partnerships and Engagement Officer (12-Month Contract)

We currently have a 12-month fixed term contract for a vibrant Partnerships & Engagement Specialist to join our team. You will report into the Head of Partnerships and Engagement to provide on-going strategic partnership coordination and support ensuring the bond with our core member base – Police and Border Enforcement is maintained and needs of our members are met.

About the role

  • Support the development, and implementation of innovative partnership strategies, systems, and processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise partnership opportunities.
  • In collaboration with the Head of Partnerships and Engagement manage complex partnership agreements, ensuring compliance and mutual benefits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all partnership inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of partnership activities.
  • Develop and implement annual partnership strategy in alignment with the organisations strategic objectives
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing and retail banking team to support the delivery of specific partnership assets/collateral to events (small scale on-site marketing activation) as well as coordinating the attendance of key internal stakeholders at these events through creation of an internal attendee register
  • Coordination of partnership calendar of events
  • Lead the planning and execution of partnership activations, including events, campaigns, and co-branded initiatives.
  • Represent the organisation at events and educational seminars
  • Strengthen and nurture existing relationships with partners
  • Monitor and analyse partnership performance, providing regular reports, budget reconciliation, and insights to the Head of Partnerships and Engagement.

To be successful you will have:  

  • 1-2 years minimum of relevant experience in corporate development, relationship management, or related roles
  • Experience in supporting key strategic partnerships and/or demonstrated marketing activation experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Confidence with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative partnership ideas.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly
  • Self-driven, proactive, and resilient.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Eager to learn, high level of initiative and team player.
  • An understanding of the financial services industry (a plus but not essential).
  • Highly proficient Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI
  • Have a drive for excellence and thrive when working in a fast-paced environment
