About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and professional Regional Lending Specialist to join our dynamic team and support our NSW/ACT branch network.

This is a mobile role, which means you’ll be on the road, working across various branches and locations. Travel is required, and you’ll also be expected to relieve staff at different branches as needed—offering variety in your day-to-day and the opportunity to connect with members across the region.

Working hours of this role will be Monday to Friday between 8:30am to 5pm

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding service to members across multiple channels: face-to-face, phone, and digital platforms
  • Meet and exceed key performance indicators aligned with lending and member satisfaction.
  • Professionally greet and assist members who visit the branch.
  • Respond to member enquiries accurately and within set service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively engage with members through outreach and business development initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth, needs-based conversations to identify suitable banking products and services.
  • Analyse documentation and prepare credit applications to drive positive outcomes.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance member experience and increase product uptake.
  • Accurately process lending applications and complete all administrative tasks.
  • Assist members with teller transactions or electronic transfers as needed.
  • Work flexibly across different branch locations to provide relief support where required.

About You

  • A strong background in lending and customer service within a retail banking environment.
  • Current Drivers License
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly and work across multiple branches
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A member-focused mindset with a passion for building lasting relationships.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Understanding of credit applications and risk management practices is desirable.
