The New South Wales Police Basketball Club put in a fantastic effort as they competed in the 39th Annual Australasian Police Basketball Championships, held in Sydney in October. With four Men's and three Women's teams competing, the club had 4 teams reach the grand final but unfortunately couldn't claim any silverware. Since 2007, NSW Police Force Detectives have held a biennial Criminal Investigations Dinner to celebrate the vocation of criminal investigation. Over 1500 retired and serving criminal investigators attend the event, which promotes the honour, history, commitment and professionalism of criminal investigation in New South Wales.
