In 2017, the New South Wales Police Force will once again undertake the journey across the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea. This endeavour has been taking place since 2006 in order to recognise the significant sacrifice that the Diggers in World War Two made for this wonderful country and to help raise funds for NSW Police Legacy. Australian Police Rugby Union Tour 2017

Rugby Anzac Tour

The Australian Police Rugby Union (APRU) will embark on a 12 day tour of the South Island of New Zealand. The team will play selected Police teams in Christchurch and Dunedin before an international game in Queenstown on Anzac day against the combined New Zealand Police. Players are selected from most Police jurisdictions around Australia.

Bicycle Ride for Rememberance

The Remembrance Bike Ride supporting NSW Police Legacy enters it's 5th year in 2017 and will see dedicated riders travel 300km from the Wall of Remembrance in Sydney's Domain to the National Police Wall of Remembrance in Canberra. Over it's time, the ride has raised over $300,000 and has become one of the biggest fundraisers for NSW Police Legacy. The biennial Youth Officers Conference was held in Goulburn Academy from the 22nd to 24th May this year. In attendance was over 260 NSWPF Youth Operatives, including YLOs, SLPs, YCMS (PCYC), their supervisors, Commanders, Corporate spokespeople and external stakeholders such as the e-Safety Commissioner and highly regarded guests.
