The first New South Police Force Crime Coordinators Conference was held in Goulburn with the main topic focusing on ‘Innovate, Integrate and Motivate’.
The two-day Crime Coordinators conference was conducted at Goulburn Police Academy and was attended by over 70 Crime Coordinators and their back-ups.
The conference covered topics relating to Crime Coordinators and needs of the Local Area Commands, specifically managing the Crime Management Unit and developments in the role to reduce crime.
A number of workshops were also conducted, covering topics such as cops management, eyewatch, court notice management and assessing fraud. Presentations were also provided by Operational Programs, Terrorism Intelligence Unit and Performance Improvement and Planning.
Former Commissioner and Police Bank Director Mr Ken Moroney AO APM received a warm welcome and presented on leadership. It was also a good opportunity for Crime Coordinators from across the state to meet face to face.
