The Memorial Muster Rally is about preserving and remembering the grave sites of those police who have died in service, and in particular their final resting place. Additionally, sites of significant historical significance to NSW Police. Organisers encourage people to do research themselves, and seek out family members who have served and since passed for example. The NSW Police Legacy and AFP Legacy Camp is a wonderful chance for Legatee children to make some new friends, meet up with old ones and take part in a number of exciting adventures. Held at Thunderbird Park in Queensland, each year the kids have a blast while taking part in the Survivor Mud Course & Tree top challenge, Canyon Flyer, Bushwalking and Laser Skirmish.Find out more »
The "Geoffrey Richardson Memorial" Golf Day is a charity day dedicated to the memory of Sergeant Geoffrey Richardson who tragically lost his life whilst working for the NSW Police Force. The charity golf day is to raise money for NSW Police legacy in the hope to assist Margie, Sergeant Richardson's wife to raise their two boys. In 2017, the New South Wales Police Force will once again undertake the journey across the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea. This endeavour has been taking place since 2006 in order to recognise the significant sacrifice that the Diggers in World War Two made for this wonderful country and to help raise funds for NSW Police Legacy. The Remembrance Bike Ride supporting NSW Police Legacy enters it's 5th year in 2017 and will see dedicated riders travel 300km from the Wall of Remembrance in Sydney's Domain to the National Police Wall of Remembrance in Canberra. Over it's time, the ride has raised over $300,000 and has become one of the biggest fundraisers for NSW Police Legacy. The 8th Annual Wall to Wall ride will take place on Saturday 16th September. Beginning in 2010 with 500 riders, the event has grown remarkably to over 2000 riders expected in 2017. The event brings together serving and retired members (sworn and unsworn) and other friends, family and proud supporters of policing. The Graeme Donnelly Cup is a sports day in memory of local Fallen police. The cup has been successful in raising over $50,000 for NSW Police Legacy. The NSW Police Boxing Competition is in it's 5th year and since it's inception has raised over $300,000 for both NSW Police Legacy and Police Citizens Youth Clubs (PCYC).
