There are 2 Police Bank Director vacancies in this year’s election. Directorship nominations are closed, as of 5.00pm 27th September 2016.
Director David Walton will be standing for re-election. Director Lloyd Taylor is retiring after 28 years as a Police Bank Director. A message from Lloyd Taylor:
Police Bank has been a large part of my life. I am retiring after 28 years as a Director. I am proud to have served in many roles on the Board including 9 years as Chairman and Deputy Chairman. I have witnessed the growth of firstly the Police Credit Union from about $100 million in assets when I took office in 1988 to now be heading towards $2 billion. It has been a huge success. In a competitive and tough market Members have continued to support Police Bank and this is recognised by Board, Management and Staff. I am confident the focus of Police Bank will always be to put Members first. Without them, the owners, we would not exist. Hopefully my contribution in some way has helped to continue building the foundations that have made Police Bank into one of the most respected mutual banks in Australia.
I wish to thank all who I have worked with at Board level, Management and Staff. I have made many great friendships along the way whilst also learning skills from many of you. It has been fantastic being part of a team that is committed to helping Members. So finally after all those wonderful years I say goodbye, confident of a great future for your bank. Best of luck to all.
