This is the month where men Grow a Mo to raise vital awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and depression.

  1. Register your team captain with us by filling in the form below.
  2. Register yourself and team on the Movember website.
  3. Once your team is set-up, add your team to the Police Bank Network by clicking on the “Join this network” button on the Police Bank Network page. A pop-up box will appear, click “Join as a Team.”
  4. Start clean shaven on 1st November.
  5. Raise money and awareness for the fight against prostate cancer and depression in men.

The person who raises the most individual donations for the great cause that is Movember will be prized with a sports pack valued at $250!

You might have what it takes to grow a Mo, but to become a Mo-Hero is taking it to the next level. If you are one of the first 100 people in the Police Bank Network to raise over $200 for Movember you will WIN a Special Mo Edition USB Stick! So step it up this Movember, and have your name down in history books!

Important Notice

The Uniform Standards Committee has granted a special exemption to NSW Police Officers taking part in Movember. Normal protocol requires Officers with moustaches or beards to have a minimum of three weeks’ growth whilst on duty and for it to be neatly trimmed. However, this requirement will be waived for those taking part in the fundraiser. Please advise your Commander of your participation in Movember.

Terms & Conditions

To participate you must follow the steps outlined below to register your own team through both the Movember website and with Police Bank.

To register as an individual participant under the ‘Police Bank Team’ please register directly on the Movember Website. By registering as an individual under the Police Bank Team you will automatically be eligible to win the prizes available, except for the Special Mo Edition NSW Police Officer USB Stick Competition which still requires you to complete a Mo-Hero entry above.

Register your team: Follow the steps for your team to qualify for prizes and participate in the Movember Challenge:-

  1. To qualify the team captain must register on the form above.
  2. Register your team name on the Movember website.
  3. Join your team to the ‘Police Bank’ Network.
  4. Invite your friends to join your team. All donations over $2 are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Receipts are managed directly through the Movember website and Police Bank has no liability for issuing tax receipts. Receipt Request Form and Donation Form can be downloaded from the Movember Website.

Prizes On Offer:

  1. Most Individual Donations – Sports pack valued at $250. The individual participant who has raised the most amount of money throughout the Movember Competition as listed under the Police Bank Network page as of Friday 7th December 2014 9.00am ADST. Please make sure all cheques deposited directly through Movember are cleared by this date otherwise it will not be included in your total donations. In the event of a draw, the winning participant will be determined by the participant with the most amount of donations. Both Mo Bro’s and Mo Sista’s are eligible for this prize.
  2. Champions Trophy – The winning team will be determined by the average of the team’s total donations as listed under the Police Bank Network page as of 9.00am ADST on Friday 7th December 2014 ADST. Please make sure all cheques deposited directly through Movember are cleared by this date otherwise it will not be included in your teams total donations.
  3. Mo-Hero – If an individual participant is one of the first 100 people in the Police Bank Network that raise over $200 AND submit an entry into the competition found on this page, they will WIN a Special Mo Edition USB Stick. The prizes are strictly limited to the first 100 participants that qualify and complete and entry form. Submissions must be received by 9.00am ADST on Friday 7th December 2014. Entries will be verified and participants will be contacted by 9.00am ADST on Friday 7th December 2014 for confirmation of USB delivery.

Conditions of Entry

  1. Entry open to all Australian residents over 18 years old.
  2. The promoter is the Police Bank Ltd. ABN 95 087 650 799. AFSL/Australian Credit Licence No. 240018. 25 Pelican Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010.
  3. Prizes for the competition and registration starts on 1st October 2014 and closes 9.00am ADST on Friday 7th December 2014.
  4. The prizes on offer are not transferrable or redeemable for cash, travellers cheques or foreign currency. Prizes must be claimed by 15th January 2014.
  5. Only the teams registered under Police Bank Network will be eligible to receive prizes on offer.
  6. Any photo’s or information emailed to Police Bank or uploaded on Movember’s website automatically grant’s Police Bank permission to use for Police Bank Marketing material, Police Bank’s Facebook/Twitter and third party publications. This also includes team name and individuals’ name.
  7. Employees, employee’s families and business partners of Police Bank are not eligible for prizes.
